Evaluation Meeting on Rize-Artvin Airport was Held

An evaluation meeting was held on Rize-Artvin Airport under the chairmanship of Rize Governor Kemal Ceber.

To the meeting held under the chairmanship of Governor Kemal Ceber in the meeting hall of Rize Governorship; Pazar Governor Mustafa Akın, Police Chief Nurettin Gökduman, Gendarmerie Commander Colonel Hakan Dedebağı, PTT Regional Manager Huzur Nur, Transportation Regional Manager İhsan Gümrükçü, Rize-Artvin Airport Manager Fikret Akbulut, Customs Manager Şule Keskin, Fire Brigade Manager Uğur Minder and Health Manager Mustafa Tepe and joined.

At the meeting, evaluations were made about the latest status of the works at the airport, the works carried out, the contribution it will make to the region, and the works to be done after the airport. With the opening of the airport, which is one of the mega projects of Rize and is extremely important for the region; Studies to be carried out in areas such as safety, transportation, health and logistics were evaluated.

The work at Rize-Artvin Airport, which is the second airport in Turkey to be built on the sea, has come to an end. Final preparations are being made for the Rize Artvin airport, which will contribute significantly to the air transportation, tourism and economy of the Eastern Black Sea Region upon its completion.
