A 25 percent hike was made in public transportation in Samsun. The increase decision taken by UKOME will be applied to trams, minibuses, buses and minibuses.
In Samsun, the Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Coordination Center (UKOME) increased the urban public transportation fees by 25 percent. Accordingly, the price of passengers per person on all minibus and minibus lines for the city was increased from 4 liras to 5 liras. According to the UKOME decision, the student prices, which are 3,5 TL in public transportation vehicles, did not change.
UKOME's 25 percent hike decision is expected to enter into force after it was signed by Metropolitan Mayor Mustafa Demir at the beginning of next week.
