The Zarova Bridge, which was completed on the Siirt-Eruh highway and will make the transportation of the city to Şırnak comfortable, will be put into service today.

Noting that the Zarova Bridge, which was completed on the Siirt-Eruh highway and will make the city's transportation to Şırnak comfortable, will also be inaugurated, Siir Governor Osman Hacıbektaşoğlu said that the bridge is a huge and prominent investment, and that the Siirt-Eruh road will be completed with this opening.

The construction of the 57-meter-long, 37-meter-wide bridge, which was started on the Zarova Stream at the 1998th kilometer of the approximately 355-kilometer Siirt-Eruh highway, was started in 15, but the works were interrupted from time to time due to terrorist attacks, has been completed.

In the construction of the bridge with 70 spans, each of which is 5 meters long, 60 seismic isolator support wedges were placed in order to provide the highest level of security against earthquakes.

Thanks to the project, the bridge, which will offer high standard transportation opportunities to the citizens, was built with box-section reinforced concrete elevations, high-body box-section steel beams and reinforced concrete decks. There are also 1,5 pedestrian paths on the bridge, each 2 meters wide.

The Zarova Bridge, which will be put into service today with a ceremony attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, will increase the physical standards of the Siirt-Eruh road, increasing traffic safety and driving comfort.
