Emirates is increasing its capacity on flights from Dubai to Brisbane as the local government relaxes international travel restrictions as the country achieves its target of achieving an eighty percent double dose vaccination rate. From February 5, Emirates will also operate its Perth flights at full capacity for eligible vaccinated passengers.
With the international flights to Queensland being brought to full capacity again, flights from Dubai to Brisbane with the number of EK430 will carry more than 350 passengers at one time and will be operated with a three-class Boeing 777-300ER type aircraft model. Emirates is also increasing the weekly capacity on the route by increasing the frequency of flights EK1/2022 from Dubai to Brisbane to five times a week, effective January 430, 431. There is a possibility that the capacity will be further increased in line with demand.
On the other hand, the frequency of flights EK420/421 on the Dubai-Perth route will be increased to five times a week to offer more capacity for Australian citizens and repatriated residence permit holders, as well as international passengers planning to visit Western Australia.
International travelers to Brisbane will no longer have to go into quarantine at government facilities and will be able to self-isolate by staying at home under a set of conditions set by the Queensland government. In addition, vaccinated travelers arriving in Perth will not be subject to quarantine but will have to comply with Western Australia's travel requirements for international travelers traveling with a full dose of vaccination certificate.

Travel essentials for Brisbane
To travel on Emirates flights to Brisbane, passengers must be Australian citizens, permanent residents or close family members and provide proof of full-dose COVID-19 vaccination with a TGA-approved vaccine. Passengers must also submit a negative COVID-19 PCR test from their country of origin no more than three days before their planned travel date.
To meet the home quarantine requirements mandated by the authorities in Queensland, travelers are required to undergo additional PCR tests on the first and 19th day of their quarantine period, or any time during which they expect Covid-12 symptoms.
Before entering Queensland, passengers must present an Australian Travel Statement and apply for and receive a Queensland International Arrivals Registration.
Travel to Perth easier
Western Australia's relaxation of border restrictions will allow vaccinated international travelers to enter Perth without the need for quarantine. Passengers are required to submit a negative COVID-72 PCR test performed for Perth no more than 19 hours prior to their travel date. Documentation of being vaccinated against COVID-19 with a TGA-approved vaccine is also required to obtain entry clearance. Passengers must apply for a G2G Pass prior to travel.
Under Western Australian regulations, inbound international passengers are required to test for COVID‑48 within 19 hours of arrival and six days after arrival in Perth.
