Turkish Aviation and Space Industry, which is among the leading companies of the world aviation industry with its aviation projects, continues its investments and collaborations for the development of new generation technologies. Turkish Aerospace Industries, which opened a new office in the Cyberview Futurise campus in Selangor, the commercial capital of Malaysia, started to work with Malaysia for new joint projects in the field of defense industry and aviation.

The new address of Turkish Aerospace Industries, which brought a new one to more than 10 technology offices around the world, was Malaysia. The engineers who will work in the new office, which will strengthen the long-standing relations with Malaysia in the field of defense and aviation, aim to carry out joint studies in many areas from Unmanned Aerial Vehicles to Jet Trainers, from helicopter projects to modernization programs for the world aviation ecosystem.

Emphasizing that strategic cooperation will be very important due to the importance of Malaysia, Turkish Aerospace Industries General Manager Temel Kotil will hold important meetings within the scope of his Malaysia visit. Temel Kotil, who will visit MIMOS, known as Malaysia's technology supplier, will go to Malacca and sign a MoU with the CTRM company related to HÜRJET.

Expressing his views on the newly opened office, Turkish Aerospace Industries General Manager Prof. Dr. Temel Kotil said, “With the engineers we will employ within the scope of our new office, we will strengthen the ties between the two countries and host important studies for Malaysia and Turkey to develop joint projects in the field of aviation and defense. Thus, we aim to expand our half-century-old aviation experience in aviation, space and defense within the scope of joint efforts with Malaysia and to strengthen the global aviation industry, especially in our regions. I wish our newly opened office in Malaysia to be beneficial in terms of relations between the two countries, and I would like to thank my colleagues for their efforts.” said.

Turkey's Ambassador to Kuala Lumpur Dr. Merve Safa Kavakcı, on the other hand, talked about the collaborations and investments of Turkish Aerospace Industries in Malaysia: "I hope that the physical presence of Turkish Aerospace Industries, one of the leading companies in our country's field, in Malaysia will be beneficial for the relations between the two countries. We are pleased with the concrete cooperation projects and the presence of our defense industry companies in various regions of the world recently. In fact, today's opening is a good example of this. We have strong political and commercial relations with Malaysia. We have full will and support for this to progress further with new collaborations in the field of defense industry. Our strategic partner Malaysia is our largest trading partner in Southeast Asia. Just like our country, it is located in a very strategic position. Today's opening also demonstrates the confidence of our country's companies in a strong, stable and prosperous Malaysia.”
