It was reported that the shipment carried out at Dapengwan LNP port, China's first large-scale Liquefied Natural Gas (LNP) base, exceeded 10 million tons in the first 10 months of the year, reaching a record level.

It was stated that the amount of LNP stored and transported at the Dapengwan port in Shenzhen city of Guangdong province increased by 10 percent in the first 31,9 months of the year compared to the same period of the previous year and reached 10 million 233 thousand 400 tons.

According to the information obtained, maritime transportation has become an important route for the shipment of energy resources such as LNP and coal for electricity generation in China's Greater Bay Area, which includes Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau regions.
