According to the 2021 Third Half Turkey Startup Ecosystem Investment Report prepared by StartupCentrum, 109 million dollars were invested in startups during this period. With 80 investments made in the third quarter of this year, the number of enterprises that received total investment in the first nine months of the year increased to 220. The rate of increase in the number of investments in the third quarter of 2021 was announced as 12,7% compared to the second quarter.
Game first, finance second
The game industry, which continues its growth without slowing down, received 10 more investments in the last quarter, meeting with a total of 42 investments in the first nine months of the year. According to the report, at least one gaming startup was invested every week for the first nine months of 2021. In the financial sector, which received the most investment after the gaming sector, 20 investments were made.
