Izmir Bay Festival, which will be held for the fourth time this year by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality on October 15-17, brings all sea lovers together in Izmir. Concerts, shows and other enjoyable events will accompany the competition at sea.

İzmir Bay is preparing to stage the İzmir Arkas Gulf Races on October 16 and 17 with optimist, canoeing and swimming events for three days.

Izmir Gulf Festival hosted by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality is organized with the support of Chamber of Shipping Izmir Branch, Arkas Holding, Turkish Sailing Federation, Aegean Open Sea Yacht Club (EAYK), İZDENİZ, İZFAŞ and Grand Plaza. İzmir Arkas Gulf Race, where more than 300 boats will compete on triangular routes for two days, can be watched along the coast between Gündoğdu Square and Alsancak Ferry Pier, from Göztepe Ferry Pier to Konak Ferry Pier, from Alaybey to Bostanlı Ferry Pier.

On Friday, October 15, the first day of the festival, there will be performances by street artists at the ferry piers and on the ships between 12.00 and 20.00. At 16.00, national windsurf athlete Çağla Kubat and national kitesurf athlete Bilge Öztürk have conversations at the Historical Gas Factory. On Saturday, October 16, at 11.00, there is coastal cleaning in İnciraltı Urban Forest and free canoe training at Bostanlı Fisherman's Shelter. İzmir Arkas Gulf Races will start at 13.00. Between 16.00 and 19.00, a canoe race will be held at Bostanlı Fisherman's Shelter. There is a cortege by land and sea between Konak Pier and Gündoğdu Square at 17.30.
