Konya Bicycle Festival Has Started

Konya Bicycle Festival, which will be held by Konya Metropolitan Municipality between 22-23-24 October, has started. Speaking at the opening ceremony of the festival held in Kılıçarslan City Square, Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay stated that October has almost turned into a festival month in Konya. Stating that the activities started with the Gastronomy Festival and continued with the Science Festival, and that they will complete this year's festival programs after the Book Days and Bicycle Festival, Mayor Altay thanked the people of Konya who did not leave them alone in all programs.

GREAT SUPPORT TO OUR EVENTS

President Altay said, “There is a great support. This year's Book Days event will hopefully break a new record. We could not do it last year due to the pandemic, but in 2019, 522 thousand people attended with a record participation. As of last night, we passed the number of 500 thousand. This shows how important these jobs are.” said.

Noting that they will host bicycle lovers at Kılıçarslan Square until Sunday evening, Mayor Altay invited Konya residents of all ages to the festival and thanked the organizations that contributed.

President Altay also gave the good news that they will present two thousand scooters to children aged 7-15 for the festival.
