Expo 2020 Dubai's Premier Partner and Official Airline Emirates hosted Mikel Arteta, Manager of Arsenal, one of the English Premier League clubs, at the Expo 2020 Pavilion.

Arteta was welcomed by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and CEO of Emirates Airline and Emirates Group. Visiting the pavilion, where digital experiences focused on the future of aviation are exhibited, Arteta had the opportunity to see and experience first-hand various installations and images. Emirates connects visitors to Expo 2020 Dubai with 10 installations that appeal to all senses and thought-provoking experiences.

Located in the Zone of Opportunity within the Expo and inspired by aviation in both its interior and exterior design, the Emirates Pavilion features 24 aircraft wings that curve around the structure, with a stunning LED lighting system between them that shines bright colors after sunset.

During his visit to the Expo, Arteta also visited the Spain and Argentina pavilions, the Sustainability pavilion, the observation tower named 'Sky Garden', one of the favorite structures of the fair, which offers a 360° view to the event area, and enjoyed the magnificent light shows in the Al Wasl Dome.

Mikel Arteta explained his visit: “I had a great time visiting Expo 2020 on my last visit to Dubai. It was an amazing experience to experience the future of aviation at the Emirates pavilion. The light shows in the Al Wasl Dome were spectacular. It was truly a unique experience. I would definitely recommend anyone visiting Dubai in the coming months to visit Expo 2020.”

The Emirates and Arsenal partnership is one of the longest-standing and best-known relationships in the history of professional football clubs, and the Emirates brand has been featured on Arsenal team jerseys since 2006. The airline's sponsorship of Arsenal Club jerseys will continue in the 2023-2024 season. In addition, the stadium that hosts the team's matches will continue to be called the Emirates Stadium until 2028.

Expo 2020 Dubai visitors to visit the Emirates Pavilion here can make a reservation.
