At the 3rd International Military Radar and Border Security Summit, 110 defense industry companies showed their strength. Border security was discussed in every aspect at MRBS, which hosted approximately 500 visitors.

The 3rd International Military Radar and Border Security Summit - MRBS, organized by the Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association - MUSIAD Ankara Branch, with the support of the Ministry of National Defense and the Presidency of Defense Industry of the Republic of Turkey, under the auspices of the Ministry of Interior - MRBS, on October 5-6, 2021, Hacettepe Beytepe Congress Center It was held in Turkey with the participation of ministries, public institutions and organizations, embassies, prominent representatives of the defense industry and academics.

3 defense industry companies and approximately 110 visitors attended the 500rd International Military Radar and Border Security Summit. At the MRBS, where important commercial negotiations and agreements were held, important players of the defense industry also introduced their products to meet the needs of Turkey and friendly and allied countries.

They made their debut on MRBS

Many new projects were also showcased for the first time at MRBS's fairground. Meteksan exhibited its autonomous unmanned land vehicle, which performs reconnaissance and surveillance and serves as an outpost, at MRBS for the first time. Turaç company's anti-drone cartridges and Robit Teknoloji's mobile guard Droad, which has its own unique operation and data center and surveillance system, were among the projects introduced for the first time.

The topics on the agenda of the sector were discussed at the summit.

During the two-day MRBS, there were 3 special presentation topics and 7 sessions. In MRBS, special presentations were made on the Use of Radar in Acquisition of Spatial Intelligence: Opportunities and Development Areas, Importance of Border Security in the 3rd World War, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and Border Security. The session topics of MRBS, which attracted great attention, were: Anti-Drone Radar Systems, Terrorism and Border Security, Digital Maritime and Communication, TR Ministry of Interior Special Session: Technologically Integrated Border Management and Surveillance Systems, TÜBİTAK BİLGEM Special Session: Border Security Special Technologies, Coast Guard Special Session: Sahil Net Project, ROKETSAN Special Session: Innovative Technologies Against Asymmetric Threats in Border Security.

MRBS has turned into an important commercial cooperation platform

Making a speech at the closing of MRBS, MUSIAD Ankara President Hasan Fehmi Yılmaz said: “We are very happy to make MRBS four times bigger and turn it into an important cooperation platform for our industrialists. Our domestic and national defense industry, which develops itself day by day, plays a very important role in the development of Turkish industry and especially SMEs. As MUSIAD, we will always continue to stand by our industrialists and support them with the commercial platforms we have developed. The opening of MRBS, President of the Presidency of Defense Industry Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir, MUSIAD Deputy Chairman Gökhan Yetkin, MUSIAD Ankara President Hasan Fehmi Yılmaz and MUSIAD Ankara Defense Industry Sector Board Chairman Mr. Fatih Altunbaş.
