International Forwarding and Logistics Service Providers Association UTIKAD continues its activities within the framework of corporate responsibility. UTIKAD, which was audited to renew the Equal Women at Work Certificate given by the Sustainability Academy, was re-certified in September 2021 with the work and development it has demonstrated in the intervening period.

UTIKAD, which presented the Sustainable Logistics Certificate to the sector within the scope of its sustainability efforts for the future of the logistics industry, became a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact on February 13, 2015.

UTIKAD published the Responsibility Statement Report for the first time in 2017, based on the biennial 'Responsibility Statement Report' by non-profit organizations participating in the Global Compact global network. After the second report in 2019, UTIKAD presented the 'Responsibility Report 2021-2019' to the public for the third time in January 2021.

Established in 2009 to create change in the business world for a sustainable and more livable world and to be effective in shaping the future, the Sustainability Academy managed to keep sustainability on the agenda of institutions with the slogan "Time for Change". The institution, which has been working with the aim of “Managing Change” since 2015, has implemented the Equal Women at Work Certificate project in cooperation with the British audit company Intertek.

The Equal Women at Work Certificate aims to certify the work of institutions working to provide women with equal rights and opportunities in business life and to support transformation in the business world with their experiences. Application for the Equal Women at Work Certificate is on a voluntary basis. The application step is followed by an independent audit by Intertek. The certificates are valid for two years, and at the end of the two-year period, any institution can apply for a certificate extension and starts the audit process again. UTIKAD, the International Association of Forwarding and Logistics Service Providers, which cares about supporting and developing the existence of women in working life in our country, received the Equal Women at Work Certificate in September 2017 and became the first non-governmental organization entitled to receive the certificate.

UTIKAD, which applied to ensure the continuity of the certificate, was re-certified with a high score as a result of the successful audit. Continuing its efforts to raise awareness of women's employment in the logistics sector, UTIKAD invited all its members to receive the Equal Women at Work Certificate.
