Emirates, which will purchase three more A380s from Airbus this year, is preparing to add the last batch of its order to its fleet in November, instead of the first delivery date of June 2022.

Alongside Emirates' highly acclaimed Premium Economy cabin, each of the three new A380s to be delivered will be the A380's latest cabin design, exclusive suites and Shower & Spa for First Class, renowned Onboard Lounge, Business Class convertible seats signature features, including the largest in-seat screens in the industry, to enjoy the expansive entertainment content on the airline's ice platform, accessible to passengers in all cabins.

With these deliveries, the total number of A380s in Emirates' fleet will reach 118 in November. These include six four-class aircraft with Premium Economy seats.

Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline, said in a statement: “We have entered into an agreement with Airbus to advance delivery of the remainder of our A380 order and have secured financing for these units. We are preparing to fully launch the Premium Economy cabin product in the coming months, and these new aircraft will increase the number of these highly sought-after seats.

“Sir Tim Clark continued: “As Emirates, we will continue to be the largest operator of this spacious and modern aircraft for the next two decades, and we are committed to ensuring that the Emirates A380 experience remains a passenger favourite, as we continue to invest in improving our products and services.”

As travel restrictions are relaxed as COVID-19 vaccines are rolled out around the world, Emirates will relaunch A380 services on several popular routes between Dubai and the following destinations in October: Amman, Cairo, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Guangzhou, London Heathrow, Los Angeles, Manchester, Mauritius , Moscow, Munich, New York JFK, Paris, Toronto, Vienna, Washington DC and Zurich.

Emirates' four-class A380 aircraft are currently in service on the London Heathrow and Paris Charles De Gaulle routes. Emirates' premium Economy seats, covered in luxurious cream leather, offering comfort and ample legroom, are already available as instant upgrades for valued passengers. All other signature First, Business and Economy cabins of the Emirates A380 are available for sale via emirates.com.tr or travel agencies.
