The World's and Turkey's Best Universities Announced

Times Higher Education (THE), the world's most reputable rating agency, announced the results of the 'World University Ranking 2022'. In the ranking, which includes the best universities in the world and in Turkey, British and American universities kept their places in the top 5. Among the foundation universities from Turkey, Koç, Sabancı, Bilkent and Bahçeşehir Universities were at the top of the list.

Times Higher Education (THE), which has been seen as the most reliable ranking list of the world's best universities in their fields since 2010, included more than 99 universities from 600 countries and regions in the list it prepared this year. Universities in the list; It was prepared by considering criteria such as Education/Training, Research, Citation, International Visibility and Industry income. In the list in the general ranking field in Turkey, respectively; Çankaya University, Koç University, Sabancı University, Bilkent University, Hacettepe University, Istanbul Technical University, Middle East Technical University, Istanbul University, Bahçeşehir University and Boğaziçi University took place. Oxford University is at the top of the world list, while the university; California Institute of Technology, Harvard University, Stanford University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Cambridge University followed suit.

BEST UNIVERSITIES IN 'INTERNATIONAL VISIBILITY'

In the list where universities in Turkey are ranked in the field of 'International Visibility', the best 801 foundation universities in the 1000-4 band; Bilkent University, Sabancı University, Koç University, Özyeğin University and Bahçeşehir University. The order of the universities in the 'Citation' field is; Çankaya University, Koç University, Bilkent University, Bahçeşehir University, Sabancı University and Özyeğin University. Finally, in the list where the effectiveness of universities in the field of 'Research' is examined, respectively; Sabancı University, Koç University, Bilkent University and Bahçeşehir University took place.
