For the first time in its history, IMM has opened a licensed student dormitory at European standards, in compliance with student dormitory regulations. In the first stage, the application results of the dormitories prepared for female students were announced. During the 1-week application period, 4 thousand 18 requests were received. As a result of the carefully examined applications; 625 female students were entitled to stay in IMM dormitories. A 10% quota is reserved for the children of martyrs and veterans in IMM dormitories. SPECIAL QUOTA FOR THE CHILDREN OF MARTYRS AND GAZIERS

In the system where 10% quota is allocated for the children of martyrs and veterans, coming from disaster areas also reflected positively on the score for settling in the dormitories. Other criteria affecting the placement score include; Being settled in university at the first entrance to the exam, total income of the family, whether the parents are alive or not, whether they are divorced or married, and being successful in international competitions were also included.

In the first phase, 625 female students will be served in the three girls' dormitories opened in Avcılar and Beyoğlu. It is aimed that this capacity will reach 1000 people with the men's dormitory planned to be opened in Gaziosmanpaşa in the second half of the training calendar. The selection of IMM dormitories was made by prioritizing the safe environment. Proximity distances to the transportation network and universities were taken into account. In IMM dormitories, where disabled people are not forgotten, some rooms have been made accessible by equipping them with equipment and belongings that students need.
