AK Party Konya Deputy Ziya Altunyaldız shared the new developments regarding the highly anticipated Konya Metro with the public.
Altunyaldız said, “The financing loan of Konya Metro has been approved. Bugs related to China have also been cleared recently. Signatures for the metro will be signed in 5-10 days," he said.
The tender for the first phase of the Konya Metro, which is 21,1 km long, covering Necmettin Erbakan University, New YHT Station and Meram line, was held on October 2, 2019. The contract for the project was signed on 12 December 2019.
