Renault MAİS signed the largest electric vehicle sales agreement in Turkey with the car sharing company TikTak. TikTak, which will purchase a total of 400 fully electric Renault Zoe models until December, will start to include these vehicles in its operations in Istanbul as of the end of September.

Renault MAİS and TikTak signed an important agreement to increase the awareness and use of electric vehicles in Turkey. Founded in 2020 and providing urban transportation services to its 300 thousand members in Istanbul, TikTak will expand its fleet with electric vehicles by supplying 400 Renault Zoes under the agreement.

Renault MAİS General Manager Berk Çağdaş said, “We believe that the agreement we made with TikTak will contribute to the widespread use of environmentally friendly electric cars in our country, such as the third generation Zoe, that meet all the expectations of the consumer. As Renault, we are one of the leading brands of electric vehicle technology. As a matter of fact, the Renault Group will offer 3 more electric vehicles next year. Zoe, our flagship in this field, is among the first models that come to mind when it comes to electric cars in our country. Today, the demands for technology and cost-oriented shared vehicle use are increasing. We will continue our cooperation in this direction in the coming period," he said.

Ersan Öztürk, the Founder and CEO of TikTak, said, “This agreement, worth $18 million, is a very important step for the growth of our mobility service with new generation electric vehicles. In line with our environmentally friendly mission, we aim to reduce the carbon footprint of our users and contribute to air cleanliness. We plan to continue to invest in electric vehicles as we grow in other cities of Turkey in the coming period. Renault MAİS is an important business partner for TikTak and we are very excited about this agreement.”
