The IMM delegation paid a visit to the Esenyamaç Village due to the floods and floods that occurred on August 1 in the Başkale district of Van. IMM, which will provide clothing, household goods and shopping checks to the citizens staying in the tent, will also provide the white goods of the villagers when they move to permanent residences.

Floods and floods that occurred on August 60 due to heavy rain in the 170-household Esenyamaç Village, about 1 kilometers away from the Başkale district center in Van, caused the destruction of some houses and barns.

The delegation, which made investigations in the region, came together with the Van Governor's Office, Baskale District Governor's Office, the mayor's office and regional headmen, non-governmental organizations and citizens. The team, which also examined the area exposed to the flood, carried out detection studies. It was determined that families living in the tent city needed financial assistance, while children and women needed clothing. During the meetings, it was decided that the Van Governorate and Başkale District Governorate would report a complete list of needs.

In the first place, IMM will send a thousand shopping cards, 50 boxes of clothes, blankets, duvet covers and quilts to the citizens living in the tent city in Esenlamaç Village. When it comes to permanent houses in the village, IMM will meet the white goods needs of the households. On the other hand, Kadıköy Municipality of Ankara and Ankara Metropolitan Municipality each sent an aid truck to the region.

Providing information about the visit, Kartal Mayor Gökhan Yüksel said that they met with households whose houses were destroyed or damaged in Esenyamaç Village and citizens who lost their animals in other villages.
