The project "We Carry for Women", implemented by DFDS Mediterranean Business Unit in cooperation with KAGIDER, won the bronze award in the category of "Communication / PR Campaign of the Year" at the Stevie International Business Awards, one of the most prestigious award programs in the global business world. The project, in which DFDS supports women entrepreneurs by expanding its borders from Europe to North Africa, won the "Corporate Social Responsibility Project of the Year" award at the 6th Economy and Logistics Summit.
While continuing to expand its borders at the international level, the “We Carry for Women” project, implemented with the cooperation of DFDS Mediterranean Business Unit and KAGIDER, was honored with a bronze award in the category of 'Communication / PR Campaign of the Year' at the Stevie International Business Awards, one of the most prestigious award programs in the world. The "We Carry for Women" project is also the 27th Economy Project, which was held in Istanbul on 25-26 August 2021 by the UTA Logistics Magazine, which has been published monthly for 6 years and is considered one of the most prestigious publications in the sector, with the participation of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, sectoral unions and associations. and Logistics Summit, "Corporate Social Responsibility Project of the Year" award.
Within the scope of the project, DFDS Mediterranean Business Unit transported the products of women manufacturers to Europe and North Africa free of charge on the transportation network departing from Pendik, Yalova and Mersin. DFDS, which also carries out transportation to Cyprus, has carried out a total of 11 shipments with 34 logistics solution partners for the export products of 17 women entrepreneurs so far. The support, carried out in the defense, textile, food and enamel sectors, continues to gain an international dimension.

International support for women entrepreneurs
While the project continues to expand its borders, Emine Erdem, Chairman of the Board of KAGIDER, in her message to the W20 meeting held in Rome, the capital city of Italy, announced the “We Carry for Women” project and the “Civil Society Organization between the two countries” initiated by KAGIDER and AIDDA during the pandemic period. ” presented the cooperation as a good example. Lilli Samer, Head of the Italian Women Entrepreneurs and Executives Association AIDDA Friuli Venezia Giulia Delegation, who spoke at the W20 meeting, also cited the “We Carry for Women” project as an exemplary project. Samer also thanked Emine Erdem, Chairman of the Board of Directors of KAGIDER, on this occasion.
The "Corporate Social Responsibility" project, which has been launched by DFDS Mediterranean Business Unit and KAGIDER for business women, will provide free transportation support for the export products of 50 women entrepreneurs for 1 year.
