Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality is taking measures to prevent damage to the superstructure works carried out in Uzun Sokak, one of the busiest centers of the city, and to repair the damaged areas. In this direction, Uzun Sokak will be closed to all kinds of vehicle traffic by the Metropolitan Municipality for a week starting from 00.00 tonight.
The following statements were used in the statement made by the Metropolitan Municipality on the subject; “In the Trabzon-Ortahisar Uzun Sokak and Connection Streets Superstructure Renovation work, which was tendered by the Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality, the floor stone coating production has been completed, and these productions are damaged especially at the entrance and interconnection roads of Uzun Sokak, where vehicle traffic is intense. The reason for this is that there is no time left for concrete and stone to provide the necessary adherence. Stone production is damaged as a result of vehicle landing on it. In order not to damage the productions, Uzun Sokak and its connection roads should be closed to all kinds of vehicle and motorcycle traffic from 30 August 2021 at 00.00:6 until 2021 September XNUMX. Between these closure dates, the deteriorated productions on the entire street will be corrected and then opened to traffic.”
