It was noted that chamber of commerce members will be able to purchase tickets for flights from 30 June, and non-chamber members from 4 July. Regarding the passengers going from Nanjing to Milan, it was stated that the work of the Chinese authorities continues.
According to the World Bank's 2019 tourism report, while China hosted more than 2019 million tourists in 160, Italy succeeded in attracting more than 90 million tourists to its country.

According to the average of 2017 and 2019, the number of Chinese citizens visiting Italy's tourist destinations is around 3 million.
