Combined Transportation with YHT Plus Bus Connection to Antalya Starts

In line with the gradual normalization decisions, as of July 10, combined transportation with high-speed train plus bus connection to Antalya, Alanya, as well as Bursa and Karaman, which is still continuing, begins.

The high-speed trains, which have increased the number of daily trips from 26 to 36 and will serve as "Express YHT" on the Ankara-Istanbul line for the first time, have been serving as Ankara-Konya-Karaman, Istanbul - Konya- Karaman, Ankara - Eskişehir - Bursa, It will provide combined transportation services with YHT plus bus connection on the lines of Konya-Eskişehir-Bursa, Ankara-Antalya-Alanya, Istanbul-Antalya-Alanya.

With the increase of YHT flights, the General Directorate of TCDD Taşımacılık AŞ, which provides an additional capacity of 4 thousand 542 per day and a total of 16 thousand 92, significantly reduces the travel time not only to the cities reached by the YHTs, but also to the nearby cities with the YHT plus combined transportation.

Travel times with YHT plus bus connection; Ankara- Eskişehir-Bursa 4 hours, Konya-Eskişehir-Bursa 4 hours 15 minutes, Ankara-Konya-Karaman 3 hours 35 minutes, Istanbul-Konya-Karaman 6 hours 55 minutes, Ankara- Konya- Antalya 7 hours 20 minutes, Ankara- Konya-Alanya will be 7 hours 30 minutes, Istanbul-Konya-Antalya will be 10 hours 30 minutes, Istanbul-Konya-Alanya will be 10 hours 45 minutes.

With YHT plus bus-connected combined transportation, significant savings are achieved in travel time, while offering a comfortable, convenient and economical journey. Considering that the travel time between Istanbul-Antalya-Alanya is 12-14 hours by bus, the reduction of this time to approximately 10 hours and 30 minutes with the YHT plus bus connection provides a very important comfort and convenience for the citizens in their holiday travels.

The highest demand for bus-connected combined transportation of high-speed trains, which have served 57 million passengers to date, was for Ankara-Eskişehir-Bursa, Konya-Eskişehir-Bursa lines. On these lines, 1.596.925 people have preferred the YHT bus connection to date, providing both comfort and time savings.
