EGO General Directorate stated that the metro and ANKARAY will not work during the hours and days when the curfew is applied throughout the city.
In order to control the rate of spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic, in line with the Ankara Governorship Provincial Public Health Board Decision dated 01 June 2021 and numbered 2021/31; in the second phase of the gradual normalization period; Between 22.00-05.00 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday; On Sundays, a curfew will be applied, starting at 22.00:05.00 on Saturday, covering the entire Sunday and ending at XNUMX:XNUMX on Monday.
In this context, the transportation planning for Bus and Rail Systems by EGO General Directorate is given below.
IN EGO BUSES
Bus service planning was made by the General Directorate of EGO, taking into account the passenger density, which was monitored instantly by the Fleet Tracking Center and field inspection officers.
Private Public Buses (ÖHO) and Private Public Transport Vehicles (ÖTA) will not operate during the hours and days when the curfew is applied. Likewise, our Ankara Metro and ANKARAY Rail System businesses will not serve. However, on our alternative bus lines that provide ring service to Metro stations, service will be provided in accordance with the last departure times of the metro.
RAIL SYSTEMS
Our Rail System Operations (Metro and ANKARAY) will not work during the hours and days when the curfew is applied. However, due to the fact that the Ministry of National Education will take the High School Entrance System (LGS) exam on Sunday, June 6, 2021, our Rail System enterprises (Ankara Metro and ANKARAY) will serve between 06.00 and 14.00, taking into account the transportation of the students who will take the exam (Annex-2B Table). ).
