In his speech, Oktay stated that groundbreaking new and innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence, autonomous vehicles, robotic production systems, augmented reality and the internet of things have become a fact of human life and said, “Today, all factors affecting productivity are directly affected by digital technology and technological developments.
High technology means high efficiency and high added value. According to the forecast, breakthrough technologies such as cloud computing are expected to contribute approximately $2030 trillion to the global economy in 16. Expressing that the electric car is not just about the automobile for them, Oktay said: “To raise a separate sector that will serve as the locomotive of the sector in electronics, autonomous and informatics and that will act as the locomotive of the developed sub-industry in the same way. Beyond a Turkey that says we are now in electric vehicles only, there are investments we have made to the next stage. In other words, when we come to flying vehicles, you will see a Turkey that will play for the world leadership.”
