Angolan Transport Minister Ricardo Viegas de Abreu, who made an official visit to Transport and Infrastructure Minister Adil Karaismailoğlu, received a briefing on railways from TCDD General Manager Ali İhsan Uygun.
Angolan Transport Minister Ricardo Viegas de Abreu and the Ankara Ambassador of the Republic of Angola José Gonçalves Martins Patrìcio and the accompanying delegation came to the General Directorate of TCDD after meeting with Minister Karaismailoğlu.
TCDD executives made a presentation about the structure of TCDD, its place in the sector, YHT and other studies. General Manager Uygun stated that they are pleased with the developing cooperation of the two countries in recent years and that they would like to see Angola as a common stakeholder among these cooperation areas, and stated that TCDD, with its 165 years of experience, is ready to contribute to the railway sector and regional development in Angola.

Angolan Transport Minister stated that they intend to cooperate in their efforts to establish the Angolan railway sector. Minister Abreu said, “Our visit was very productive. We agreed on the formalization of the draft memorandum of understanding, which will initiate cooperation in the railway field and to be prepared by TCDD.” Said.
Angolan delegation then examined the historical Ankara Train Station and Ankara High Speed Train Station and got information about railway transportation.
