Otokar KENT LF and KENT LF Bellows, which are the favorites of public transportation in more than 50 countries, CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Tunç Soyerstarted its service with a ceremony attended by ESHOT General Manager Erhan Bey and Otokar General Manager Serdar Görgüç.
One of the Koç Group companies, Otokar continues to strengthen the public transportation fleets of municipalities across Turkey with its innovative and environmentally friendly vehicles. Otokar, which gained great acclaim in more than 50 countries with the design, ergonomics and technology of the vehicles it produces, made the biggest delivery of the year. Having signed a contract with ESHOT for the purchase of buses and providing after-sales services for these buses for 5 years for İzmir, which has strengthened its position among the most livable cities in the world, Otokar delivered a total of 364 KENT LF and KENT LF Articulated Articulated Bellows.
Buses, which have become the favorite of public transportation in more than 50 countries, especially in France, Italy, Spain, Germany and Romania, as well as many metropolitan municipalities in Turkey, were completed in a short time like one year. The delivery ceremony of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, which realized the largest single bus purchase across the country in order to ensure efficiency in transportation and to sign an exemplary transportation, CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, Deputies, Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Tunç Soyerwas held with the participation of ESHOT General Manager Erhan Bey and Otokar General Manager Serdar Görgüç. Reflecting Otokar's innovative approach in public transportation, the 364 KENT bus of different lengths, which attracts attention with its modern design as well as its superior technical features, started its duty on the streets of İzmir after the ceremony.
