A passenger arriving at Sabiha Gökçen Airport from Hamburg, Germany, was considered risky by the teams of the Istanbul Customs Enforcement Smuggling and Intelligence Directorate.

The passenger's suitcase was opened after it was found suspicious in the scan made with the x-ray device. 73 strands of hair were found in the suitcase.

Again, 6 drugs, which had to be transported with special permission, were seized during the search conducted on the two passengers.

Electronic products

In another operation carried out by the teams at the airport, 60 crypto money wallets, which were specially produced and referred to as cold wallets, were seized. In addition, 142 electronic cigarette devices and cartridges, 20 mobile phones and 32 video cards were seized during the searches made on suspicious passengers.

In another operation carried out by the teams, 25 steel vests were found in the luggage of a passenger that was intended to be brought into the country. During the operations, 264 cosmetic products, jewelry such as rosaries, bracelets and necklaces, and 22 kilograms of hookah tobacco were seized.

While the products with a market value of approximately 1,5 million liras, which were seized as a result of the operations, were confiscated, legal action was taken against those responsible.
