The Kolektor CPG-Yapı Merkezi-Özaltın Consortium won the 2st part of the tenders held in two parts by the 1TDK Company established by the Slovenian State to realize the double track project of the Divaca-Koper Railway, which is the largest infrastructure project in Slovenia. The Contract for the 2nd Part of the project, whose tender was previously completed, was signed on 31 March. The signing ceremony of the Contract for the First Part was held on May 5, 2021. Thus, Kolektor CPG-Yapı Merkezi-Özaltın Consortium was entitled to perform all the construction works of the project with a total cost of 628 million 363 thousand Euros. In his speech at the ceremony, Yapı Merkezi Holding CEO Aslan Uzun said, “We will open a tunnel with a total of 403 meters of Blasting New Austria Method within the scope of the PART 613 project of the Divaca-Koper Railway, whose contract value is 361 million 1 thousand 25 Euros. The cross section of the main line and service tunnels will be 463 m69 in size. Together with the tunnels in PART 2, we will open a total of 2 thousand 37 meters of tunnel in this beautiful country of Europe. While tunnels were opened in the limestone-based karstic rock formations unique to the Alps, which are evaluated with a high degree of difficulty in the field of tunnel engineering, at the same time, all the plans were made to protect the environment in the works to be carried out in the world-famous forests of Slovenia.
