Metro Istanbul, an affiliate of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), came together with Karadeniz Ereğli Municipality to examine the field of Göztepe Cable Car Project. He exchanged information about the project with General Manager Özgür Soy, who went to Ereğli, and Mayor of the company, Halil Posbıyık.

Metro Istanbul General Manager Özgür Soy, who went to Karadeniz Ereğli and met with Mayor Halil Posbıyık, and the company's senior management, together with Deputy Mayors Haluk Okur and M. Tayyar Mendeş, made observations for the Göztepe Cable Car Project. “As Turkey's industry leader, our support visits will continue in the rail systems journey of our other municipalities,” said General Manager Özgür Soy.

Giving a briefing about the drawn project, Metro Istanbul Deputy General Manager Responsible for Projects Fatih Gültekin said, “The project was drawn between Amphitheater and Göztepe. "The places where the legs of the project will be placed have been determined, with a length of 452 meters, 4 cabins, 8 people in each cabin, with a capacity of 512 passengers per hour and an arrival time of 2 minutes 54 seconds."
