CUPRA Designed Yacht D28 Formentor Goes To The Sea

CUPRA's first 100 percent model, Formentor's design, iconic elements and color inspired a yacht. Barcelona-based De Antonio Yachts has designed a high performance yacht based on the CUPRA Formentor CZ5. The yacht, called D28 Formentor, can reach a speed of 40 knots and a maximum power of 400PS.

CUPRA, which has recently become an independent brand by leaving SEAT, continues to collaborate with different brands to create a unique experience universe outside the automobile industry. In this context, the brand collaborated with De Antonio Yachts to design a yacht inspired by the Formentor model.

The perfect combination of performance and design

The first product of the collaboration was De Antonio Yachts D28 Formentor. Inspired by Formentor's iconic elements, the yacht can reach a speed of 40 knots and produce 400PS of power. It draws attention with its exterior design, simple lines and dynamic character. The Petroleum Blue yacht, copper-tone finishes and black carbon fiber elements add elegance and sportiness.

The V-shaped body design of the D7.99, which has a length of 28 meters, provides a comfortable cruise even at maximum power. Its wide beam and weight distribution ensures perfect balance during mooring. The deck surrounding the yacht allows the users to move around the yacht comfortably. The yacht, which also has a fully equipped bathroom, offers a unique feeling of openness with a maximum capacity of up to ten people.

The D28 Formentor is targeted to be available for sale at the end of 2021.
