Within the scope of the Weapon Carrier Vehicles (STA) Project for our Land Forces Command; 208 tracked KAPLAN vehicles and 136 wheeled PARS anti-tank vehicles are supplied from which Kornet or OMTAS can be launched. While 94 vehicles, 113 of which were KAPLAN, have been taken into the inventory so far, and 5 more vehicles have been taken into the inventory after the final inspection and acceptance activity that started on April 2021, 9. 7 of the vehicles were delivered to the 5th Armored Brigade Command in Gaziantep, and 2 to the 2nd Armored Brigade Command in Kahramanmaraş. With the procurement of STA vehicles, it was aimed to increase the operational efficiency of the anti-tank troops by harmonizing with the maneuverability of mechanized units.
