The Turkish Aeronautical Association was established on February 16, 16, 1925 months after the proclamation of the Republic, by the orders of the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk under the name of "Turkish Airplane Society".
The establishment purpose of the Society; The aviation establish the aviation industry in Turkey, military, economic, social and political importance to tell; to ensure the development of military, civil, sports and touristic aviation; to prepare the necessary tools and equipment for all this; training staff and creating a Flying Turkish Youth.
