EGO General Directorate, affiliated to Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, updated the hours and working schedule of public transportation vehicles due to the curfews to be applied between April 29, 2021 and May 17, 2021, in the process of closing.
Between Thursday, 29 April 2021 and Friday, May 07, 2021, Metro and ANKARAY light rail public transportation systems will continue to serve between 06.00-19.30 during the week. Our Rail System Operations will not work between 10-14 May 2021, which coincides with the week of Saturday and Sunday and Ramadan Feast.
On Saturdays and Sundays when the Metro and ANKARAY public transportation systems will not work, our bus lines operating on the metro routes will continue to be served.
However, due to the Academic Personnel and Postgraduate Education Exam (ALES) to be held on 02 May 2021, our Metro and ANKARAY systems will serve between 06.00-15.00.
In addition, taking into account the transportation of our citizens participating in ALES to the examination centers, in addition to the current weekend work schedule, 33 additional bus service plans were made on 78 routes on Sunday.
Except for Şereflikoçhisar, Bala and Kalecik vehicles, other Environmental District Private Public Transport Vehicles and Center Special Public Transport Vehicles (ELV) will not be available between the dates when the curfew will be applied. On these routes, the service provided in the previous restriction periods with the vehicles of our Corporation will continue.
Private Public Buses (ÖHO) will continue to serve on four routes 114-7, 185-7, 203-7 and 413-7.
As of 30 April 2021, our current service hours can be accessed from our "Local Transportation Information System / Web Information System" and EGO CEP application on the internet address www.ego.gov.tr.
The density of our public transportation systems is monitored instantly by our organization. In case of need, necessary changes will be made in service planning.
