HİSAR-A and HİSAR-O Air Defense Missile Systems

HİSAR-A; It is a Low Altitude Air Defense Missile System developed to meet the low altitude air defense needs of the Land Forces Command. The system has been developed by ASELSAN, using national means, in order to render the threat ineffective at low altitudes within the scope of point and zone air defense of units in motion and critical regions / points.

The HİSAR-O air defense missile system was developed to meet the medium altitude air defense needs of the Land Forces Command. HİSAR-O will fulfill the task of neutralizing threats at medium altitude within the scope of point and zone air defense. HİSAR-O will be used in distributed architecture, battalion and battery structure.

The missiles of both systems find their target with inertial navigation, mid-course guidance via RF data link and IIR (imager infrared) seeker.
