Mass Production AKINCI TİHA's Flight Tests Are Conducted

The first mass production platform of the AKINCI Assault UAV, which was developed domestically and nationally by Baykar Defense, is being tested.

Sharing from Baykar Savunma's official Twitter account, it is seen that AKINCI TİHA's third prototype made its first flight. In the images, AKINCI PT-3 TİHA cuts off the runway one by one after taxiing, takes off and puts a wheel back on the runway. In addition, it was stated in the post that tests were carried out on the AKINCI S-1, the first platform of mass production, in Istanbul. In the post, it was announced that "Bayraktar #AKINCI tests continue at full speed regardless of the location ... Istanbul / S-1, Çorlu / PT-1", and the first mass production platform of AKINCI TİHA has started the tests.

In a recent post, Selçuk Bayraktar said, “#AKINCI PT-3… The last selfie at home before flying out of the nest.” With his statements, AKINCI signaled that the third prototype of TİHA was going to Çorlu for the first flight. As can be seen from the shared photograph of AKINCI TİHA, the 3rd prototype of Bayraktar AKINCI Assault UAV was counting the days for its first flight at Çorlu Airfield Base Command in Tekirdağ, where testing activities were carried out.

In the video that Selçuk Bayraktar shared in January 2021, while walking inside the BAYKAR facilities, the AKINCI Offensive UAV platform, which entered the mass production process, is among the vehicles reflected in the camera. In the video in question, in addition to AKINCI TİHA, which will enter the inventory in 2021, 3 prototypes of Flying Car CEZERİ, 2 ​​prototypes of the new generation Bayraktar DİHA, which is still mass production, and Bayraktar TB2 SİHA systems.

On November 27, 2020, in the statement made by the Vice President Fuat Oktay at the Parliament's Plan and Budget Committee, it was stated that AKINCI TİHA's test activities for mass production have reached the final stage. In a post made by Baykar Defense on December 6, 2020, it was stated that AKINCI TİHA successfully completed 61 different tests in about a year since its first flight.
