Denizli Governor Ali Fuat Atik, Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Osman Zolan and Denizli Police Chief Kenan Yıldız visited the Traffic Management Center, which the Metropolitan Municipality has established as part of the Smart Cities Project. Denizli Metropolitan Municipality DESKI General Manager Niyazi Türlü, Deputy Secretary General Ömer Faruk Özer, department heads and accompanying persons accompanied the visit. Providing information about the Traffic Management System, whose technical infrastructure is completely locally and nationally produced in Denizli, Mayor Osman Zolan told Governor Atik how they control the city traffic through the system and the instant interventions they make to traffic densities. While it was explained that 100 different intersections in Denizli are monitored at the same time, interventions are made from a single center to the traffic flow, the traffic light durations are determined automatically according to the traffic density with the green wave system, and the officials at the Traffic Management Center made a detailed presentation to the visitors. Denizli Governor Ali Fuat Atik and his entourage, who admired the system, thanked Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Osman Zolan for their hosting.
