Metropolitan Municipality, which recently signed a collective bargaining agreement for nearly 3 thousand workers of ESPARK, which is an affiliate of the municipality, is continuing negotiations with the Railways-İş Union for the laborers within ESTRAM.

The Metropolitan Municipality, which has made improvements in the economic and social rights of nearly 696 thousand workers who have been employed as permanent workers in municipal companies with the Decree Law No. 3, but who have not been able to benefit from any rights other than the rights in the decree for nearly 3 years, continues the negotiations for the personnel within the ESTRAM. Stating that the negotiations with the Railway Work Union are ongoing and the necessary proposal has been made to the union, the Metropolitan Municipality officials stated that if the offer is accepted by the union, approximately 800 workers will benefit from the collective bargaining agreement.

In the meetings attended by the Metropolitan Municipality bureaucrats, ESTRAM officials and the officials of the Railways Work Union, the raise to be received by the personnel and the improvements to be made in the social rights are discussed.
