Disabled Public Personnel Selection Exam (EKPSS), which was postponed due to the pandemic, will be held on Sunday, November 15th. Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, which takes measures to ensure that candidates who will enter the EKPPS can reach the exam sites comfortably, will provide free transportation of disabled candidates and their companions, if any.
EKPSS PREPARATION COURSE
Health and Social Services Department Disabled and Elderly Services Branch Directorate gave a preparatory course for EKPSS to 225 trainees. In the courses, current topics were taught in Turkish, Mathematics, History, Geography and Citizenship courses within the scope of general ability-general culture for the disabled group. In addition to lecturing, students were provided with materials including a question bank and trial exams. At the Cemil Meriç Barrier-Free Life Center, 25 students were trained by applying mask and distance rules during the epidemic period. While the trainings were done face-to-face in the first period, they were conducted online during the epidemic period.

After the documents and registration procedures are completed, an appointment must be made in advance for the taxi service to be taken. In addition, in cases of unplanned demand, they can benefit from the service according to the availability of the appointment system. Specially equipped vehicles allow disabled individuals with wheelchairs to travel comfortably with their companions.
