The Work at the Temporary Accommodation Center in İzmir Has Approached; Following the earthquake, under the coordination of AFAD, with the participation of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, Highways and State Hydraulic Works teams, work continues at the temporary shelter center on Haydar Aliyev Street.
Infrastructure work has been completed at the center where 550 containers are planned to be built. Giant cranes continue to unload containers into the field. Installation of 300 containers at the center has been completed. Officials make the containers ready for the use of earthquake victims.
The teams, which continue to work continuously for the construction of social reinforcements, are expected to complete their work on the weekend.
AFAD officials informed that earthquake victims will be hosted in the temporary shelter center as of Monday.
It was noted that the containers of approximately 21 square meters will be heated by central heating, and there will be shower, toilet and hot water equipment.
