The Length of Rail System Lines in Kayseri Will Reach 48 Kilometers

Mayor Büyükkılıç announced that the rail system lines will reach 30 kilometers with the completion of the Belsin Anafartalar, whose foundation will be laid on Saturday, and the Talas Anayurt line, which will be tendered on December 48.

Mayor of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç said that they will lay the foundation of the tram line, which will extend from Belsin to the direction of the Intercity Bus Terminal, Kayseri City Hospital, Nuh Naci Yazgan University and Mobilyakent and YHT station, with the participation of the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Adil Karaismailoğlu.

Stating that they are continuing their work at full speed to increase the comfort of transportation, Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç said, “We are almost knitting our city with iron nets. We strive for faster, more comfortable and safer transportation. We are adding new ones to the existing rail system lines extending from Organized Industrial Zone to İldem and Talas. We are happy to lay the foundation of Belsin rail system line tomorrow. The fact that we will hold the tender for the Talas Anayurt line on 30 December increases our happiness one more fold ”.

Providing information about the tram line of about 7 kilometers, Mayor Büyükkılıç said, “Belsin line will integrate the existing rail system line at the Anafartalar Rail system stop and towards the north section, the Intercity Bus Terminal, Kayseri City Hospital, Nuh Naci Yazgan University, Mobilyakent and high-speed train station. It will extend to the direction. The approximately 7-kilometer-long line will largely meet the public transport demands on the north-south axis of the city. I would like to thank Mr. President for their support, and all our ministers before our Minister of Transport and Infrastructure ”.

Thanks to the project, whose groundbreaking ceremony will be held on Saturday, the Intercity Bus Terminal, Kayseri City Hospital, Nuh Naci Yazgan University and Mobilyacılar Site will meet with the tram. The tender for the Talas Anayurt line, which is about 6 kilometers long, will be held on December 30. The rail system line, which is 35 kilometers in Kayseri, will reach 48 kilometers with the commissioning of Belsin Anafartalar and Talas Anayurt projects.
