Rockwell Automation, the world leader in industrial automation and digital transformation, is organized every year with its partner network, Partner Network. The first day of the 29th Automation Fair this year has been completed. More than 33 thousand people visited the fair on the first day of the fair, which was organized in a hybrid way, live and online.

The fair was designed as an online fair to protect the health of users, solution partners and employees during the pandemic. At the fair, where participation was free, visitors visited many stands online, attended dozens of sessions and had the opportunity to listen to world-renowned leaders.

“The participation of tens of thousands of inventors, designers and innovators at this week's Automation Fair At Home demonstrates that industrial automation is vital for all of our users, regardless of the industry,” said Tina Dear, Vice President of Global Marketing at Rockwell Automation. There were more than 175 stands in our fair where the latest innovations in 90 applied training and automation were explained.

At Automation Fair At Home, where the latest products, solutions and services in the field of industrial automation and digital transformation were introduced, participants had the opportunity to experience innovations first hand. Perspectives keynote presentations and Rockwell Automation Experience virtual tours were held at the fair, where the participants had the opportunity to meet with Rockwell Automation and PartnerNetwork executives. Perspectives keynote and Rockwell Automation Experience virtual tours are among the most important parts of the five-day event.

Perspectives started with the "Imagine YOUR Next" themed talk

The fair started with keynote presentations of Rockwell Automation top leaders, industry experts and partner companies. Perspectives, which was only open to press members in the past years, was opened to all registered participants this year. Perspectives started with the speech of Blake Moret, President and CEO of Rockwell Automation, with the theme "Imagine YOUR Next", where he shared the innovations in the industrial automation world over the past year and visions for 2021. Other Rockwell Automation experts also discussed topics ranging from supply chain, software, control, smart devices and LifecyleIQ services. Leaders of international companies, including Cisco, Georgia-Pacific, Stanley Black & Decker and PTC, delivered presentations at many Perspectives sessions. Speakers included renowned inventor Dean Kamen and futurist Jason Silva.

Virtual Tours: Rockwell Automation Experience

The Rockwell Automation Experience offered the participants the opportunity to virtually visit the newly designed Digital Engineering Hall, Digital Thread Experience, Product & Technology Fairgrounds at Rockwell Automation's headquarters in Milwaukee. In the Digital Engineering Hall tour, end-to-end machine design, operation and maintenance steps were exhibited within the scope of the digital engineering project. In the Digital Thread Experience, users had the opportunity to see the transition from siled operations to a digitally connected company with real-world examples. At the Product and Technology Fairground, Rockwell Automation's latest innovations in control, informatics and lifecycle services were exhibited. After each tour, the participants evaluated the products and technologies with Rockwell Automation experts.

Apart from these, Automation Fair At Home offered participants the opportunity to gain industry knowledge in many ways and to communicate with technology experts one-on-one.
