Sinop Airport Receives Accessibility Certificate

“Accessibility Certificate” was given to Sinop Airport by the Provincial Directorate of Family, Labor and Social Services. Thus, the number of airports that received this certificate increased to 23.

As it is known, 2020 was declared the "Year of Accessibility" by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. In this context, airports have also improved their services to enable passengers with reduced mobility to access more easily.

In this context, the necessary arrangements were quickly completed at Sinop Airport. Sinop Airport, which was determined to fulfill the necessary conditions in the audits carried out by the Sinop Province Accessibility Monitoring and Inspection Commission, was awarded an "Accessibility Certificate".

The document issued was given to the Airport Manager Taylan Öncel by Governor Erol Karaömeroğlu at the opening of the Sinop Province 23.10.2020th Term Coordination Meeting held on 4.

The Accessibility Certificate is given to the airports as a result of the inspections made to ensure that guests with reduced mobility can benefit from passenger-friendly applications without barriers and provide more convenient access.

On the other hand, in addition to passengers with reduced mobility at passenger friendly airports; Facilitating the procedures of sick passengers with babies, pregnant women and those who need faster access is among the priorities of the organization.
