“Silivri Seymen Energy Production Center” is opening, which will bring the world's largest facility to generate energy from landfill gas at a single point when all stages are activated in Istanbul. The opening of the facility, which generates 25 million liras from the electricity produced in approximately 2 days, was announced by the President of IMM. A new one is being added to the landfill gas power generation facilities of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) in Kömürcüoda and Odayeri. Inauguration of the first phase of Silivri Seymen Energy Production Center, the construction of which was started 8 years ago and could not be completed, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu will be held on Tuesday, October 20.

ELECTRICITY FOR 465 THOUSAND HOUSES

With the license obtained from the Energy Market Regulatory Authority until January 12, 2047; IMM, which will produce and sell energy from landfill gas for 26 years and 10 months, will generate electricity that meets the annual needs of 465 thousand households when the facility starts operating at full capacity.

ANNUAL INCOME OF 200 MILLION

Silivri Seymen Energy Production Center has already earned 25 million lira from its electricity sales in about 2 days. By the end of the year, this gain will reach 11 million. The facility, which will operate at full capacity next year, will have an annual income of 200 million lira from electricity generation. IMM expects a total revenue of 2047 billion 1 million dollars until 137.
