Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality provides savings of 2011 million TL by revising the 9 model, 55-meter 40 buses used by BELSAN A.Ş., instead of scrapping them.

Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeynel Abidin Beyazgül particularly emphasizes, within the scope of the savings measures, buses with high mileage, tired engine, worn in terms of bodywork, paint and interior accessories are renewed from scratch in the workshop he established himself. All stages are carried out by the Metropolitan's own personnel.

Stating that as Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality, they work 7/24 for Şanlıurfa with a young and dynamic staff and put their signature under new projects every day, Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeynel Abidin Beyazgül said, “Especially, I put great emphasis on savings, innovation and technology. “We are moving one step further every day”.

No outside help is received in any way. Zero of our renewed vehicles is in the 750 thousand TL band. However, we spend an average of 80 thousand to 100 thousand TL for each bus we maintain and repair. While all these works are carried out, as BELSAN A.Ş., a saving of 40 million TL is provided to the Metropolitan Municipality due to this service. This savings makes an important contribution to the economy of our city and indirectly to the economy of the country. I would like to thank all my teammates who contributed.
