Avoiding any attempt to protect its passengers, HIA continues to maintain a physical distance of 1,5 meters at all passenger contact points around the airport with landmarks, signs and distance seats. Passenger contact points are disinfected at 10-15 minute intervals and boarding gates are cleaned after each flight. HIA is encouraging travelers to contactless and cashless transactions via credit cards at retail, food and beverage outlets, and is considering launching online or in-app purchases in the coming days.
