Malatya Metropolitan Municipality continues the 30 km road and asphalting works of Yamadağı Ski Center.
Teams affiliated to Malatya Metropolitan Municipality Road and Infrastructure Coordination Directorate, which works to make Yamadağı Ski Center more accessible by citizens and perform asphalting works on the 30 km road in this direction. During the examination visit to Malatya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Selahattin Gürkan, who made examinations on the asphalt pavement road, AK Party MKYK Member and Malatya Deputy Bülent Tüfenkçi, AK Party MKYK Member and Malatya Deputy Öznur Çalık, AK Party Malatya Deputy Ahmet Çakır, AK Party Provincial Chairman İhsan Koca Heads of departments accompanied the Yazici District Mayor with Nevzat Öztürk.
Yazihan District Mayor Nevzat Öztürk stated that the Metropolitan Municipality has been working hard on transportation and said, “We have come to the ski center of Yama Mountain with an altitude of 2550. Until this day, there was no transportation here. 30 km of the 20 km road was paved with the great efforts of our Metropolitan Municipality regarding transportation. On the 10 km part, laying and compaction works are carried out. We would like to express our gratitude to our deputies and the Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality for their work. May our path be auspicious. We would like to thank our Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Selahattin Gürkan and the employees of the Road Infrastructure Coordination Department. I hope that transportation will be provided without any accident, ”he said.
Stating that the deficiencies on the road to Yamadağı Ski Resort have been corrected, AK Party Provincial Chairman İhsan Koca said, “One of the important needs of the project, which we anticipate with the hope that this region and our Malatya will contribute to winter tourism, started years ago. When this road is completed, one more need is completed for our Malatya citizens who will benefit from winter sports. With the completion of this need, everyone will be aware of the beauty of this place. As our mayor said, road works continue. 30 km of the 20 km road has been completed and the works continue on the 10 km part. I hope this season will end with the efforts of our Metropolitan Municipality. Our shortcomings in terms of road will be eliminated ”he said.
Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality Selahattin Gürkan, who stated that works have been carried out in a way that will not be possible with any of the asphalt works, said, “We are on the patch mountain with an altitude of 2550 in order to examine the works carried out on the patch mountain together with our esteemed MPs, Provincial Mayor and Yazıhan Mayor. With the works we have done, we have made another attraction center of Malatya more usable. As part of the works, the asphalt of 30 km of the 20 km road has been completed. The laying and compaction works continue on the 10 km part of this road. This year, we have done 1600 km of asphalt work, especially in terms of asphalt works, with a work that has no means. I would like to thank the President of the Republic, our Government and the Deputies for providing us with these services. I hope the works will be beneficial for the people of the region in Malatya ”.
AK Party Malatya Deputy Ahmet Çakır, wishing that the Ski Resort Road will be beneficial, said, “Good luck to our ski center. Transportation here was very difficult. It is one of the important highlands of this place. It is a place where festivities and events are held. The biggest problem here was the road problem. The Metropolitan Municipality has built a qualified road with the road expansion, infrastructure and asphalt. “I would like to thank the Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality and those who have contributed”.
