We lost our General Manager, our dear brother Mustafa Canlı. I would like to thank his esteemed wife, Mrs. Müzeyyen, for coming here and honoring us, I wish her mercy and say 'Let the place be paradise' ”.

Noting that the environment is one of the main agenda items of the world, İmamoğlu emphasized that concepts such as climate change and global warming are the most important vital issues. Pointing out that scientists' warnings about this bad course of the world should be taken into account, İmamoğlu said, “In today's world, in my opinion, the greatest patriotism is its environmentalist identity. This is very precious. "If you think about your children, your life, your future, your life and love your country very much, you should never and never forget that the greatest patriotism is true environmentalism." Environment and Urban Planning Ministry has prepared "Environmental Indicators Report" that share some of the information contained in İmamoğlu, "Unfortunately, our Turkey, our air and our water is dirty. Unfortunately, water scarcity is at the door on behalf of our country, due to climate change and the damage we have inflicted. In particular, the use of pesticides reaches very serious figures. We all hear, know and follow how our forests and endemic species are decreasing day by day. Despite this dangerous trend, the environmental protection expenditures in our country are unfortunately decreasing, let alone the desired increase, ”he said.

Stating that the table runs “parallel to carelessness”, İmamoğlu said, “This is the mayor, administrators, government officials of each of us politicians; they are the main responsibility of each of us and what we have to articulate. Contrary to this responsibility, when we look at some data, we see that we are facing betrayal. In this country and in this beloved city, bad attitudes towards the environment and bad practices, which have been experienced in the last 15 years, unfortunately, have emerged. Especially since the day we took office, it is valuable for him to always remind, as we have said at every point, that one of our subjects is the environment. This is why we put the concept of green in the first place while positioning a green, fair and creative city. For this, we value opening and developing green areas ”.
"KANAL IS NOT ISTANBUL, I NEED THIS STYLE INVESTMENTS"
Turkey's transfer is a country dependent on oil and natural gas İmamoğlu, "This kind of investment, reduce this dependence is, how much you really need to move national and valuable Unsui underlined. Precisely for these reasons, not only in Istanbul, Turkey is precious to spread to the whole of such property. There is a point that we will continue to say without getting tired. It is exactly such a productive jobs, such productive projects while work will add incredible value to Turkey both our İstanbul'umuzda, such projects while, Channel named Istanbul, Istanbul completely unnecessary, superfluous, Turkey's agenda occupying and also Istanbul I would like to announce this to our citizens by underlining that we will allocate resources to a project that will betray its surroundings, and that we will allocate resources to projects that will serve Istanbul, serve its people and serve our country ”.
"WHEN THE ENERGY GETS CHEAPER, NEW EMPLOYMENT AREAS WILL CREATE"
Emphasizing that they know that the production volume in various sectors will increase as energy gets cheaper, İmamoğlu added that new employment areas will be created in this way. Noting that the transformation of landfill gas into energy has produced valuable and positive effects from the environment to the economy, from human happiness to the society, Imamoglu gave the following information about the facility: “This is a 220-hectare power plant established in a waste disposal area of 6 hectares. 10 thousand square meters of closed area. It costs us 133 million 500 liras. We have really achieved this cost in our municipality with a tight use of equity savings. In addition, in accordance with the agreement made with EMRA, we received a license until January 12, 2047. And in the first place, the Ministry made the delivery of about 12 megawatts of power with 17 gas engines. We also started to sell energy to the national system through the energy market. In fact, we are currently generating an energy equivalent to meeting the annual electricity requirement of 90 thousand households. In other words; We all like to plant trees, it means planting 11 million 500 thousand trees. It means that 435 thousand vehicles are out of traffic. Hopefully, we will increase this place to 25 megawatts and increase it continuously by gaining continuity. When it reaches full capacity, this power will be 90 megawatts. In this sense, I hope it will be the first facility in the world with the current values. for Turkey, and we are proud serious. It is a valuable project that we bring to the people of Istanbul together when the precious money of our city is spent up to the penny, in a well-controlled manner. When it reaches full capacity, those 90 thousand households will correspond to the electricity consumption of 465 thousand households. In other words, this means 60 million trees, 2 million 300 thousand vehicles leaving the traffic. "
"IMM WILL PROVIDE 26 MILLION DOLLAR GAINS IN 776 YEARS"
“I am telling the importance of the facility in Seymen over and over by giving the numbers; Saying that such facilities should never leave our minds, they should find a place in the moves regarding the priorities of our country ”, Imamoglu concluded his speech with the following words: It is an important recipe. In Istanbul, we had committed to act in accordance with all these principles. Our signature stands under this commitment. We will never give up on this in every moment of our mission. I hope when we look at the final result of this solution, this institution sold 25 million lira of electricity even in 2 days. By the end of the year, our earnings will reach 11 million. I hope that when we increase our capacity next year, this will reach 200 million lira per year. We expect the revenue of this project to reach 2047 billion dollars, 1 million dollars with additional investments until 137. Considering that 361 million dollars of this income will be spent on the development and facility expenses of this place, IMM will have earned 26 million dollars in 776 years from our project here.
"THE LIFE STANDARD OF 16 MILLION ISTANBUL PEOPLE WILL INCREASE"
“All of this income will be used for a greener, more creative and smarter Istanbul, a fairer Istanbul. Together, we will raise the living standards of 16 million Istanbulites to much better levels. In this sense, the point where absolutely everything we do is for the good of society, for the good of our nation, of our country and for the good of all humanity is a very valuable element for us. I sincerely thank all my managerial friends who devoted themselves to the process with all their efforts. I applaud each and every one of them wholeheartedly. Health to the labors and hearts of all. And especially the environment, especially the waste management of the city and especially obtaining energy, which is a final valuable result of this process, will never and never fall behind in our investment principles. I wish Seymen Landfill Gas Power Generation Facility to be beneficial to our whole city, country and Istanbul. Let's finish with a joke: We said 'I have a youth'. We said 'our excitement is high'. Let's add today; our energy is also very high now. "
