With the new project implemented by the Ministry of National Education, support will be provided to 1000 vocational and technical Anatolian high schools, from basic skills in Turkish, mathematics and science to maintenance and repair of schools, library, workshop and sports.

The Ministry of National Education has added a new project to its vocational education projects. A comprehensive support package was prepared for 1000 schools selected from vocational and technical Anatolian high schools according to certain criteria. 81 thousand students receive education in 1000 schools in 618 provinces. A library will be established for all schools within the scope of the project and sports fields will be created. Students studying at these schools will be provided with support education services in basic skills in the fields of Turkish, mathematics and science. In this context, the General Directorate of Measurement, Assessment and Examination Services will prepare support packages for these schools.

Within the scope of the project, first aid training will be given to all students and swimming will be taught to those who wish. All schools will be paired with Anatolian fine arts high schools and sports high schools, and joint culture, arts and sports activities will be held. In addition, museums and historical sites will be visited for students within the scope of the project. In these schools, students will be able to meet with prominent successful people in fields such as education, industry and industry, science, culture and arts with regular career days.

The first meeting about the project, which is one of the steps taken to reduce the difference in success between schools, was held with the video conference method under the chairmanship of Mahmut Özer, Deputy Minister of the Ministry. General Manager of Vocational and Technical Education Kemal Varım Numanoğlu, Head of Strategy Department Mehmet Fatih Leblebici, Support Services General Manager İsmail Çolak, Head of Construction and Real Estate Department Umut Gür, Head of Information Technologies Department Özgür Türk, Ministerial Consultants Dr. Sevil Uygun İlikhan, Dr. Aylin Şengün Taşçı, Dr. Hayri Eren Suna and 81 provincial national education directors attended.

In his statement on the subject, Minister of National Education Ziya Selçuk pointed out that the schools most negatively affected by the difference in success between schools in secondary education are mainly in vocational and technical education. Stating that they have started an important project covering 81 vocational and technical Anatolian high schools in 1000 provinces in order to reduce this difference and increase the quality of vocational education, Selçuk said: We will provide support in a wide range of areas up to a large number of infrastructure support. We will evaluate the steps taken and developments made within the scope of the project with the participation of our 81 provincial directors every month. We will share the improvements provided in reports. The project will be for one year. We aim to make all the investments targeted within the scope of the project and to provide supports within this year.
