Who is Göksel Arsoy?

Göksel Arsoy, (Date of birth 15 March 1936; Kayseri), Turkish cinema and theater actor. Göksel Arsoy's mother is the grandson of the Governor of Crete Mollazade Ali Talat Bey from Hania, Crete, and the daughter of Hırkazade Ahmet. His father is Remzi Aksoy. His uncle is Yesari Asım Arsoy, an important composer, songwriter and interpreter of Classical Turkish music.

While Arsoy was studying at the Faculty of Economics at Istanbul University, he started working at the nearby Yeşilköy Airport. He made his debut in the cinema in 1957 with Sırrı Gültekin's first film called “Dark Days”, followed by actors in films such as Kellamp in 1958 and Samanyolu in 1959. He also became famous with his movie called Samanyolu (1959). She played with actress Belgin Doruk in most of these films.

Göksel Arsoy is known by the pseudonym "Golden Child". Especially in the early 60's he starred in numerous films. Bulunmaz Uşak, Taş Bebek is one of his most successful films. In 1999, he was awarded the "Lifetime Honorary Award" at the 36th Antalya Film Festival. In addition, he founded a film company on his behalf and worked as a producer.

• In the 1960s and 1970s, when Yeşilçam was most productive, dozens of movie actors from Sadri Alışık to Fatma Girik, Yılmaz Köksal to Hülya Koçyiğit recorded music records. Göksel Arsoy also joined this fling of record making and she made two 45's records.
