Ordu Metropolitan Municipality is building a 5 km bicycle path in Ünye district in accordance with today's modern city norms and located in the world's leading cities.

There are smart bike stations and disabled charging stations at 4 different points on the 'Bicycle and Pedestrian Road', which will be implemented on the 614 thousand 3 meters long route that runs along the entrance of the Bus Station and Çamlık.
IT WILL BE APPLIED BETWEEN OTOGAR AND ÇAMLIK
The Metropolitan Municipality, which continues its efforts to popularize the use of bicycles and create healthy walking, sports and recreation areas for citizens, will create a new living space in Ünye district with the 'Bicycle and Pedestrian Road Project'.
In addition to the project to be implemented at the distance between the bus station and Çamlık entrance, the infrastructure has also been renewed from scratch. Emphasizing that many different studies needed on the beach will be carried out within the scope of the project, President Dr. Mehmet Hilmi Güler said, “In the coastal area between Tabakhane and Kırkevler Beach, natural stone wall work and repair of breakwaters will be done. By widening the existing pavement, we create a green belt of 8,5 meters wide, one meter long on the road and sea side, and a bicycle and walking path in the middle. In addition, urban furniture and lighting elements will be renewed along the route, ”he said.
IT WILL CONSIST OF TWO STAGES
Stating that the project consists of two stages, Mayor Güler said, “Firstly, within the scope of the 1st Stage works we will implement in the section between the Bus Station and Tabakhane Creek, the old floor removal works and the 1st stage stone wall work have been completed. Ground leveling and fortification work continues. Ground filling will be made. Asphalt will be laid for cycling and running tracks. Electricity and irrigation lines will be built. Lighting elements and urban furniture installation work will be done. Studies are continuing rapidly. We will add beauty to Ünye's beauty by presenting the promised investment to our district ”.
